CIRO AND GIOVI FERRARA IN THE CAST OF PECHINO EXPRESS 9

The journey of the first season of “Pechino Express” weblog Sky, led by Costantino della Gherardesca, is about to begin. The pairs of contestants have been chosen and will soon leave for the filming of the next edition, produced by Banijay Italia, expected on Sky and streaming on NOW TV in 2022.

Red Carpet has supported the production company of the program, Banijay Italia, for the engagement and the participation of Ciro and Giovambattista Ferrara. In addition to the “Father and Son” couple, here are the other nine couples that make up the cast: Alex Schwazer and Bruno Fabbri – “Gli Atletici”; Barbascura X and Andrea Boscherini – “Gli Scienziati”; Rita Rusic and Cristiano Di Luzio – “I Fidanzatini”; Anna Ciati and Giulia Paglianiti – “Le TikToker”; Victoria Cabello and Paride Vitale – “I Pazzeschi”; Fru and Aurora Leone – “Gli Sciacalli”; Nikita Pelizon and Helena Prestes – “Italia-Brasile”; Bugo and Cristian Dondi – “Gli Indipendenti”; Natasha Stefanenko and Sasha Sabbioni – “Mamma e Figlia”.

The journey of “Pechino Express”, in this season, will develop in the Middle East and will touch four states: Turkey, Uzbekistan, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. The new adventure will be along the route of the Sultans: these are the territories where Islamic rulers have historically dominated, bringing splendor to Middle Eastern civilizations during the dark ages of the West. The competing couples will travel along the same roads travelled by the Crusaders, Alexander the Great, Marco Polo, Genghis Khan and Tamerlane: they will leave from Cappadocia and cross Istanbul, the “Sublime Gateway”, to then reach the dazzling Samarkand along the Silk Road. They will discover the hidden treasures of the mysterious Petra until they reach the futuristic Dubai, the true symbol of conjunction between our world and that of the Sultans.
The novelty of this season is that the couples will not travel only by hitchhiking, but they will also cross the desert on dromedaries, board trains, tractors, boats and will have to face difficult routes on foot.
