On Saturday, December 17, 2022, a workshop organized by Rai Pubblicità was held at the conference hall of the National Museum of Qatar in Doha.

Julio Velasco, technical commissioner from 1989 to 1996 of the Italian men’s national volleyball team; under his management the Azzurri established themselves among the strongest national teams of all time, which went down in history as the “generation of phenomena.”

Valter Di Salvo, athletic trainer for Lazio, Manchester United and Real Madrid, where he also served as Director of Performance and ‘Real Madrid Tech.’ Since 2010, he has been the Director of Performance and Science of the Qatar FA and Aspire Academy;

Alessandro Nesta, soccer coach and former soccer player, world champion with the Italian national team in 2006. Flag-bearer of Lazio first and Milan later, winning 3 league titles, 2 Champions Leagues and various national and international cups.

Julio Velasco, Valter Di Salvo and Alessandro Nesta took part in the event, which was moderated by Rai CEO Gian Paolo Tagliavia.

The workshop was held on the eve of the World Cup final, during the event various topics were analyzed, from preparation strategies to have a close-knit, motivated and effective team aimed at achieving performance, topics suited to the professional activities of the three guests.
