The film ‘Il Segreto di Liberato’, which smashed the box office in 2024, will be available on Netflix from 19 September 2024. This docufilm, directed by Francesco Lettieri and Giorgio Testi, explores the fascinating and mysterious figure of Liberato, the Neapolitan artist who has captivated audiences with his music and secret identity. In addition to the direction of the documentary, the film also boasts the extraordinary direction of the animated sequences, curated by Lorenzo Ceccotti (LRNZ) and Giuseppe Squillaci, who masterfully fused live action and animation to tell the essence of Liberato.

The film traces the artist’s career from 2017 to the iconic concerts in Naples in 2023, through a narrative that combines archive images, exclusive interviews and spectacular animated sequences. With more than 123,000 admissions in its first two weeks of screening and a gross of more than €1 million, ‘Il Segreto di Liberato’ has been acclaimed as the event film of the year in Italy.

From 19 September, Netflix subscribers will finally be able to immerse themselves in this unique visual experience, which reveals new details about Liberato’s mysterious world by exploring his true artistic essence.
